Better Love Next Time by Dr Hook
My boyfriend’s mom gave me her Walkman from the 90s as a gift. My favorite cassette to play on it is this song. I picked it up at a record shop in Vancouver run by a funny guy named Dale, who prices albums depending on how much he likes them. The store feels like stepping into his garage, packed wall to wall with records, super cute and full of character. Whether I’m happy or sad, this track always hits just right. Dale will ask you about the artist you like and make recommendations from what he has, and he’ll tell you to trust him!
